New to Chapter 26.2 Playground, the Elasticated Egg Bomber takes a voluminous, cropped spin on a classic Song for the Mute shape. Cut from satin twill in a rich brown, the fabric's sheen plays up the rounded, egg-like silhouette, while wool ribbing at the collar and cuffs adds a matte textural contrast. A zippered front closure and full lining finish the piece.

ABOUT THE DESIGNER

Song for the Mute was founded in Sydney in 2010 by Melvin Tanaya and Lyna Ty — lifelong friends whose contrasting sensibilities define the label. Melvin's precision meets Lyna's embrace of imperfection; the result is clothing built around that tension. The brand works with artisanal mills in Japan, Italy, and France, engineering many of its own fabrics, and releases work in chapters rather than seasons — each one drawn from the founders' own lives.
