A 5.35 carat lab-grown emerald, cushion-cut, set into a molten-textured band of 18k gold vermeil. The stone sits high and slightly irregular in its setting, catching light through its facets.

Handmade in Camila D. Daneri's Madrid studio, the ring carries the same hand-worked, uneven surface found throughout her jewelry. A statement piece, sized to order and takes 2-3 weeks.

ABOUT THE DESIGNER

Camila D. Daneri is a Peruvian jewelry designer with family roots in Spain, working from her studio in Madrid. She grew up watching the women around her wear jewelry as naturally as their own skin, a ring while cooking, a necklace on an ordinary Tuesday, and that stayed with her. She builds each piece by hand, working slowly and starting most often from the stone itself rather than a sketch. Her pieces are meant to be worn daily and felt, not saved for later; they're quiet and personal, made to be passed down.
