Cut from soft drape wool in petrol black, the Super Baggy Short is Song for the Mute's widest short silhouette to date. Deep front pleats build volume through the leg, while a tailored waistband carries a seasonal tzitzit detail — a signature the label returns to each chapter.

Part of Chapter 26.2 Playground, the short fits true to size and pairs easily with the label's tops and jersey pieces.

Song for the Mute was founded in Sydney in 2010 by Melvin Tanaya and Lyna Ty — lifelong friends whose contrasting sensibilities define the label. Melvin's precision meets Lyna's embrace of imperfection; the result is clothing built around that tension. The brand works with artisanal mills in Japan, Italy, and France, engineering many of its own fabrics, and releases work in chapters rather than seasons — each one drawn from the founders' own lives.
