Experience 27 is a space that brings together luxury fashion collections created by exclusive independent designers in Madrid and Spain.
In our store in Jorge Juan as well as online, we present the creative adventure of each designer and present it with art and design objects that reinforce their stories.
All of the designers we work with are independent brands, although many also work as head designers for large luxury brands such as Louis Vuitton or Marni. Each one has a strong point of view, a unique and individual vision and, above all, a huge respect for the art of fashion, with fantastic tailoring and quality of materials resulting from impeccable and sustainable handwork.
Our goal is that, each season, we have a constant rotation of collections, each with its own history and aesthetics, from exclusive international designers in Madrid and Spain. To do this, both in the store and on our website, we present the designer's work alongside those things that are part of their creative process, whether it be music, art or decoration. We have no defined rules for how to do this in each case except one: everything we do must be consistent with the designer's creative journey.
The inspiration for Experience 27 comes from the writer Gertrude Stein and her legendary home at 27 Rue de Fleurus. Her apartment was the first version of a modern art museum. There, Stein and her lover Alice Toklas hosted soirées where they welcomed the bon vivants and the most important artists and intellectuals of the early twentieth century. Picasso, Hemingway, Fitzgerald, Matisse, intellectuals, aristocrats or students made it the center of the cultural universe. For us, the fashion we present is art and culture.
