The Smoky Quartz Ring is cast in 18k gold vermeil with a hand-worked, hammered surface, set with a large faceted natural smoky quartz in an irregular, organic bezel. The stone's warm brown tones catch the light through the facets, while the uneven gold edge frames it like a found object rather than a cut stone.

Substantial without being heavy, it reads as a statement piece that still feels grounded and wearable.

ABOUT THE DESIGNER

Camila D. Daneri is a Peruvian jewelry designer with family roots in Spain, working from her studio in Madrid. She grew up watching the women around her wear jewelry as naturally as their own skin, a ring while cooking, a necklace on an ordinary Tuesday, and that stayed with her. She builds each piece by hand, working slowly and starting most often from the stone itself rather than a sketch. Her pieces are meant to be worn daily and felt, not saved for later; they're quiet and personal, made to be passed down.
