The Laurie Skirt is cut from 100% upcycled hotel linen — Egyptian cotton bed and table linen sourced from Amsterdam luxury hotels, intercepted before disposal. In navy blue, the cloth has a clean, structured quality that holds the skirt's sculptural silhouette with precision.
The construction is asymmetrical: a draped panel falls from the front waist in a self-tie detail, while the hem descends in two staggered layers that trail to a point. The effect is fluid and architectural at once — the skirt reads differently from every angle, moving generously with the body.

ABOUT THE DESIGNER
MARTAN is a circular fashion brand founded in Amsterdam by Diek Pothoven and Douwe de Boer — designers and partners who built the label around a single premise: that luxury hotels discard vast quantities of high-quality Egyptian cotton linen the moment the first signs of wear appear, and that this material is too good to waste. MARTAN intercepts it, treats it, and turns it into clothing — produced made-to-order in Amsterdam, with no virgin fabric and each piece carrying a unique QR code revealing its full Life Cycle Analysis.
