A double-layered camisole in ecru, woven in a textured floral jacquard scattered with a black graphic bloom print. Thin black straps trace a V-neckline finished with a keyhole cutout, and the same black binding ties in a delicate bow at the open back.
The fabric's crinkled, papery texture gives the piece structure without stiffness, falling in a relaxed, slightly boxy shape to the hip.
Handmade in Japan, the piece reflects the label's signature blend of traditional textile technique and contemporary silhouette.

ABOUT THE DESIGNER
Mame Kurogouchi is a Tokyo-based ready-to-wear label founded in 2010 by designer Maiko Kurogouchi. The name comes from "mame," meaning bean in Japanese and also the designer's childhood nickname. After training at Bunka Fashion College and working in the Issey Miyake studio, Kurogouchi built a label devoted to preserving Japanese textile craft, working closely with rural artisans across the country to develop fabrics and techniques found nowhere else. Her collections are largely autobiographical, drawing on her travels through Japan and a deep connection to its vintage textiles, ceramics, and paintings. The result is clothing that feels both quietly poetic and technically exacting — fluid silhouettes built from deceptively intricate construction.
