Born in Serbia, Roksanda Ilinčić studied Architecture and Applied Arts at the University of Belgrade, followed by a moving to London to study at Central Saint Martins. After launching the Roksanda brand in 2005, she quickly became known for her use of colors, rich materials, and dramatic drapes. Each piece she creates is imbued with feminine energy that is both soft yet strong and is deeply inspired by her passion for fine arts.
Roksanda has an impressive following from such fashion tastemakers as Princess Kate Middleton, Cate Blanchett, Gwyneth Paltrow, Keira Knightley, and Queen Rania of Jordan.
