LALO is a handmade knitwear label founded in 2012 by twin sisters Lalo and Nina Dolidze. Conceived during Lalo’s university years, the brand was born from a desire to create knitwear not simply as clothing, but as art — bold, expressive, and deeply personal.
Inspired by nature, color, and the emotional resonance of craftsmanship, LALO transforms traditional techniques into contemporary statement pieces. Each cardigan carries a strong sense of individuality, designed to feel timeless yet unmistakably distinctive.
At the heart of LALO is its community of over 200 women artisans, many of them mothers and grandmothers who have spent their lives working with their hands. Some now knit from their homes, guided by memory, rhythm, and generations of knowledge. Every piece is made slowly and intentionally, with no waste and no excess.
LALO’s creations are defined by patience, care, and respect — for material, for craft, and for the women whose hands bring each garment to life.
