Rupert Sanderson

Founded by designer Rupert Sanderson in 2001, the brand's inception was marked by his rich educational background, having studied at the esteemed Cordwainers College and honed his skills at renowned footwear houses like Sergio Rossi and Bruno Magli.

Rupert Sanderson's philosophy of 'less is more' forms the foundation of his eponymous label. With a keen eye for perfecting silhouettes, he draws inspiration from the graceful curves of lasts and heels, using the finest leathers and materials to craft his shoes. Each style carries an idiosyncratically British touch, being named after a daffodil.

Rupert's dedication to shoemaking has earned him prestigious accolades, including the British Fashion Council's Accessory Designer of the Year and the Elle Style Awards' Accessory Designer.

Beyond his creative achievements, Rupert Sanderson's commitment to his craft extends to preserving the tradition of shoemaking. In 2006, he acquired a small factory in Italy facing closure, ensuring the continuation of this timeless art and passing it down to future generations.
